Verbatim is the best way to go! There are many other good brands out there too, but Verbatim seems to last longer for playback and more stable. The Verbatim blu-ray discs work great for me. I haven't had any problems with burning them or putting data on them. I love the HD quality that it allows you put on them too!

Excellent product for the price and shipping was great. Have already used it to record a couple of items....quality is exceptional. Highly recommend this product. Can't go wrong with price.

Optical Quantum 25GB 4X Blu-ray Single-Layer Recordable Disc BD-R White Inkjet Printable - 50 discs Spindle

Cheapest 50 pack of hub printable I have found yet. I have went through about 25 discs so far, with NO issues. Plays in my PS3 and 2 different set top boxes. Printable coating is very good quality, no see through marks at all. Awesome quality discs for the money. Going to buy again once I run out.

Wanted to give these discs the credit they deserve. Have backed up about 40 discs (so my kids dont ruin the originals), and only 2 coasters so far, and both were my personal fault. Have had no problems with my players reading the discs, and also love the inkjet printable option, since my all in one printer has a disc caddy for easy scan and print directly onto the disc. I have just received my second set of 50 so if anything changes in quality I will update my review. I was hesitant in the beginning because I didnt know the brand, but after solid burns (at 8 speed not 4) I have to say the manufacturer has my business wrapped up.

I've gone through several manufacturers for DVD's over the course of several year. Most of what I've bought have always been poor quality and would actually begin to chip and become damaged over time from just storage. I decided to give Philips a try because my local CompUSA was selling the 100 pack for 20 pretty cheap. It has been a great product, so when it came time to buy BD-R's, I naturally started to search for philips. Let me tell you, it was a pain trying to find these. Not a single store would carry it locally. CompUSA, BestBuy, HHGregg. None. I began to think Philips did not make BD-Rs. So I took my search to Amazon and was lucky enough to find that they do indeed exist and for a reasonable price. I would suggest picking these if you plan to burn data or media from your Blu-ray burner. Great for storing large files and for creating a backup image of your operating system.
