I've gone through several manufacturers for DVD's over the course of several year. Most of what I've bought have always been poor quality and would actually begin to chip and become damaged over time from just storage. I decided to give Philips a try because my local CompUSA was selling the 100 pack for 20 pretty cheap. It has been a great product, so when it came time to buy BD-R's, I naturally started to search for philips. Let me tell you, it was a pain trying to find these. Not a single store would carry it locally. CompUSA, BestBuy, HHGregg. None. I began to think Philips did not make BD-Rs. So I took my search to Amazon and was lucky enough to find that they do indeed exist and for a reasonable price. I would suggest picking these if you plan to burn data or media from your Blu-ray burner. Great for storing large files and for creating a backup image of your operating system.
